Murder cases and allegations

Separate cases have been registered in the cases of murder of Liton Hasan Lalu alias Hasan in Mirpur area of ​​Dhaka and the death of Tariq Hussain in Sher-e-Bangla Nagar. Due to these incidents, Hasina had to be ousted from power. Liton's brother has filed a case in Dhaka Metropolitan Magistrate Mehdi Hasan's court against Sheikh Hasina, former Home Minister Asaduzzaman Khan Kamal, former Inspector General of Police Abdullah Al Mamun, and 148 others.

Firing in peaceful procession

Liton Hasan Lalu joined the student movement going on in Mirpur area on August 4. The movement was peaceful, but at around 2 pm, people of Hasina's Awami League party started firing on the procession. Hasan was injured in this firing and later died. A murder case has been registered against Sheikh Hasina for this incident.

Fish trader's death case

The second case against Sheikh Hasina is of the murder of fish trader Mohammad Milon. This case was filed by his wife Shahnaz Begum, whose husband was shot dead while returning home from the fish market on July 21. In this case, 62 people including Sheikh Hasina as well as former Road Transport and Bridges Minister Obaidul Quader, former MLA Shamim Osman, and former Home Minister Asaduzzaman Khan have been accused.
