Allahabad: In the Lakhimpur Kheri Violence Case, Union Minister of State for Home Affairs Ajay Mishra's son Ashish Mishra has got relief from the High Court. The Lucknow Bench of the Allahabad High Court has granted bail to Ashish Mishra. After getting bail from the High Court, Ashish Mishra can come out of jail till tomorrow i.e. February 11.

SIT made Ashish the main accused in the chargesheet

In the Lakhimpur violence case, the SIT had filed a 5000-page chargesheet in the court last month. In the chargesheet, Ashish Mishra alias Monu was named as the main accused. The name of Virendra Shukla, a relative of Union Minister of State for Home Ajay Mishra Teni, was named in the chargesheet. Let us inform that Virendra Shukla is the block head of Palia of Lakhimpur.

What happened on 3rd October 2021?

Eight people, including four farmers, were killed in the violence on October 3, 2021 in Tikunia area of ​​Lakhimpur Kheri district. A Special Investigation Team (SIT) set up to probe the violence had identified and arrested 13 other accused, including Ashish Mishra alias Monu, in the case. In this case, the SIT had filed a charge sheet against 14 accused including Ashish Mishra Monu after investigation, after which the decision was reserved after hearing the bail application of Ashish Mishra in the High Court.

The opposition remained adamant on the demand of Teni's resignation

After the name of Ashish Mishra came up in this case, the opposition had been quite an attacker on the Bharatiya Janata Party (BJP) government at the Center. Opposition parties were continuously demanding the resignation of Union Minister of State for Home Ajay Mishra Teni. Not only this, during the winter session of Parliament, there was a lot of uproar on this issue.
