Chandrayaan 3 Landing: Chandrayaan-3 has started its work after reaching the destination. Meanwhile, Prime Minister Narendra Modi was abroad. He saw the landing process from there. After returning, PM directly reached ISRO Headquarters in Bengaluru. Here he met the scientists and congratulated them for this great success. The PM also addressed the scientists and gave many mantras for the future. He named the landing point of the lander and told that India has named that place as Shivshakti. This angered the Ulema of the Muslim community.

Maulana Shahabuddin Rizvi Barelvi, national president of All India Muslim Jamaat in Bareilly, Uttar Pradesh, described Chandrayaan-3's reaching the moon as a matter of pride for India. He said that due to this crores of people of India are getting great happiness and joy. He is angry over naming the landing point as Shivshakti. It is said that many citizens of the world and of India will object to this and their hearts will be troubled by the name of any deity. He said that such a name should not be kept.

ISRO's success is country's success - Maulana Abbas

Maulana Saif Abbas Naqvi of the Shia community said that the success achieved by the scientists of our country and the Indian Research Space Organization is the success of the country. He also referred to the recent Muzaffarnagar school incident and train shooting by constable Chetan Singh Chowdhary, who allegedly targeted and killed three Muslim passengers. Maulana Abbas expressed regret and said that those incidents actually happened because of this kind of mentality.

Maulana suggested this name instead of Shivshakti

Maulana Abbas of Lucknow suggested some other names instead of Shivshakti. Maulana suggested the name 'Bharat' or 'India' for the landing point instead of Shivshakti. Said that it would have been the most correct, our tricolor would have been hoisted in the name of India. It needs to be dedicated to the country. 140 crore people of the country are proud. Everyone's prayers are included. It is the hard work of the scientists of ISRO. Maulana said that what can be a better name than Bharat, India, Hindustan?

Congress has no problem with naming the landing point - Shrinet

Congress spokesperson Supriya Shrinate said that the scientists, engineers and technicians of ISRO have made the country proud. He has carried forward the legacy of ISRO. Wherever PM Modi goes, he wants to take credit. I have no objection to the names that he (PM Modi) has given. I think it is a bit unfair for PM Modi to take credit for such a big mission which our scientists have accomplished.
