Russia-Ukraine War: The ongoing war between Russia and Ukraine may end soon. According to Al Jazeera report, Ukrainian President Volodymyr Zelensky said that he is preparing a comprehensive plan to end the war with Russia, which will be supported by most of the world. The Ukrainian President, accompanied by Slovenian President Natasa Pirc Musar, said in Kiev on Friday that the plan to end the war is very important for us which will be supported by most of the world.

Zelensky said these things

Zelensky said we are taking the diplomatic path to end the war. Zelensky said that there are no current negotiations between Ukraine and Russia. According to Al Jazeera report, the two sides appear as far away from each other as ever when it comes to a possible peace deal. Ukraine has repeatedly said that Russia should withdraw its troops from its internationally recognized territory which includes the Crimean Peninsula.

Russia occupies many territories

However, Russian President Vladimir Putin insists that Ukraine effectively surrender by evacuating even more territory in its east and south, which is now occupied by Russia. Earlier this month the Ukrainian president hosted a major international summit in Switzerland to garner support for Ukraine's position. Where Russia was not invited.

More than 90 countries sent leaders and senior officials to the two-day summit in Switzerland and a vast majority agreed on a final communique that stressed the need to respect Ukraine's "territorial integrity" in any agreement, Al Jazeera reports.
