Uttar Pradesh | The meeting of the UP cabinet was held on Tuesday at Lok Bhavan under the chairmanship of CM Yogi Adityanath. In the meeting of the Council of Ministers, 16 important proposals of various departments including Excise, Health, Tourism were unanimously approved. The new policy of the Defense Corridor has been approved, while the approval has been given for the Kukrail Night Safari in Lucknow.

Energy- One corporation will be formed by merging three corporations. It was decided to merge the production Jawahar Vidyut Nigam and Jal Vidyut Nigam Limited. There will be benefit in terms of good governance. The new company will be known as State Electricity Distribution Corporation.
