After getting vaccinated at an Anganwadi center in Ajmer, about 17 hours later a one and a half month old innocent died. Angry over the death of the child, the family members reached the city dispensary and created a ruckus and beat up the nurse who administered the vaccine. Innocent's grandmother gave the nurse several slaps on the cheek. The relatives alleged that even after refusing, the nurse administered three vaccines to the child to fulfill the target. After going home, his body had turned blue.

According to the information, the matter is of Gulab Bari Dispensary of Ajmer. Innocent's maternal grandmother Hemlata Chauhan told that on Wednesday, daughter Niharika Chauhan had gone to Anganwadi center to get the grandson vaccinated. Nurse Manju, who was present here, asked the child to get three vaccines. Despite Niharika's refusal, at around 11 in the morning, Manju gave all three vaccines to the child. On Thursday morning around 4 o'clock foam was coming out of the child's mouth. On being taken to the hospital, the doctors declared him brought dead.

Angry family members reached the dispensary on Thursday afternoon and created a ruckus. Seeing the commotion in the dispensary, the nurse hid in the room. The family members were demanding to call the nurse, but she did not appear. After searching here and there for some time, the family members found him and the maternal grandmother of the child slapped him a lot. The family members calmed down only after the police reached the information, after persuading the family members and assuring the investigation of the dispensary in-charge.

The matter will be investigated

The dispensary in-charge said that a vaccination camp was organized at the Anganwadi center on Wednesday. At 11 o'clock in the morning, nurse Manju administered three vaccines to the child and gave necessary instructions. On Thursday morning, the family members accused of death after vaccination, but the symptoms of death that are being told are not due to the vaccine. At one and a half months, babies are given three vaccines and two oral vaccines. He said that the matter will be investigated, action will be taken against whoever is guilty.

The family members did not file the report

Alwar Gate police station in-charge Ramendra Singh Hada said that the police had reached the dispensary after getting information about the uproar. The family members of the deceased child were accusing them of negligence in administering the vaccines, they were explained and pacified. If the family members file a case, then action will be taken as per the rules.
