This second blast happened in a bus in the same manner as it happened in a bus parked at a petrol pump in Udhampur on Wednesday evening. However, no damage has been done. After this all the security agencies are on alert.

The blast in Udhampur comes at a time when Union Home Minister Amit Shah is visiting Jammu and Kashmir on October 4. Although his visit was fixed on 30 October, but later it was postponed and the date was extended. Regarding the incident of explosion, the ADG of Jammu told in a statement that the explosion took place at around 10.30 pm on Wednesday night near the petrol pump at Domel Chowk in Udhampur. Two people got minor injuries in this. Similarly, at around six o'clock this morning, there was an explosion in the bus parked at the old bus stand. However, there is no news of any casualty in this.

Let us tell you, Dumel Chowk in Udhampur district of Jammu was shaken by the sound of a blast at around 10:30 on Wednesday night. The blast took place in a bus parked at a petrol pump near Do Mail Chowk. There is also a checking point of the Indian Army right in front of this petrol pump. According to eyewitnesses, the sound of the blast was so strong that the entire Udhampur city was shaken by this sound. While the roof of this bus has been damaged in this blast, some other vehicles parked at the petrol pump have also been damaged. After this blast, the area was sealed by the police and senior officers reached the spot.

According to Udhampur Range DIG Mohammad Suleman Choudhary, the blast took place at around 10:30 pm. He told that this bus had come from Basantgarh to Udhampur and was standing at the petrol pump since 6 o'clock. According to him, the bus was to leave Basantgarh again the next morning, but before that it exploded. According to Mohammad Suleman Choudhary, the investigation of this blast is going on and at present it will not be appropriate to say anything about this blast. However, he has not ruled out a terrorist angle in the blast. According to the DIG, two people were injured in the blast who have been taken to a nearby hospital.

The pictures of this blast have also been captured in the CCTV camera installed at the petrol pump and the police have started investigation by taking possession of the DVR of the petrol pump. At the same time, the police is also interrogating the driver and conductor of this bus and efforts are being made to collect clues from the people injured in this accident. It is worth noting that for some time, terrorist activities are increasing continuously in Udhampur. On the other hand, in Poonch district of Jammu, the police has arrested a woman with ID.
