He also said that if the opposition demands more time, the discussion time can be extended with the consent of the House. The bill will be sent to the Rajya Sabha after being passed by the Lok Sabha. If necessary, the duration of the session can also be considered to be extended.NDA strategy and whip issuedThe NDA has issued a chief whip to all its constituent parties in the Lok Sabha, in which instructions have been given to ensure the presence of all MPs in the House on April 2. Parliamentary Affairs Minister Kiren Rijiju has also said that the MPs who will get the opportunity to speak during the discussion on the Waqf Bill should focus on the main points of the bill and use restrained language.Opposition's demand: Emphasis on increasing the discussion timeOpposition parties including Congress were demanding at least 12 hours of discussion on this bill.
