A Bajrang Dal worker was stabbed to death in Karnataka's Shivamogga amid hijab controversy. The police is looking into the matter by linking it to the hijab controversy. According to officials, the incident happened around 9 pm on Sunday night. The 26-year-old Bajrang Dal worker has been identified as Harsha. Police said that Harsha had written a post against the hijab on her Facebook profile. He had supported the saffron shawl.

Tension has increased in Shivamogga after the killing of Bajrang Dal worker. Many activists reached the hospital after the murder and started protesting against the incident. Seeing the increasing tension, Section 144 has been imposed in the entire Shivamogga. Schools and colleges have also been closed.
