This year, banks will be closed across the country on October 31 (Thursday) due to Diwali. After this, banks will be closed in some cities like Mumbai, Nagpur, Shillong, and Srinagar on Govardhan Puja on November 1 (Friday). Banks will be closed in many cities including Ahmedabad, Lucknow, and Mumbai on the occasion of Bhai Dooj on November 2 (Saturday). Incidentally, this day is also the second Saturday, due to which banks will remain closed across the country. After this, banks will not open on November 3 (Sunday) due to weekly holiday.

Thus, banks will remain closed for four consecutive days in many parts of the country, due to which people are advised to settle their financial work in advance.
