JAMMU AND KASHMIR / Big attempt to harm security forces in Rajori failed, IED recovered

Terrorist conspiracy to harm security forces in Rajori has been foiled. On Saturday morning, security forces conducted a joint operation and recovered the IED Improvised Explosive Device installed on Gurdan Road. It has been destroyed by taking it to a safe place.

Some suspicious activity was reported at Gurdan Chava village on Gurdan Road, the police official said. After this a joint search operation was launched in the entire area. During the operation, a suspicious object was found lying on the side of the road, which turned out to be an IED during investigation.

The bomb squad later took him into their possession as per the SOP. It was then destroyed in a safe place. The matter is being investigated.
