Bihar: Prior to the Panchayat elections in Bihar, the SSB and Chandramandih police have been successful in the search campaign. The Naxalites carried out an operation in the wild areas of Chandramandih police station area. During this time, the police have recovered a huge amount of explosives kept hidden by the Naxalites from the Khori forest of Chofla Panchayat.According to the information, a search operation was being carried out by the police of SSB Simultala and Chandramandih police station in a wooded area of Chandramandih police station area. In the same sequence, security forces were reported to have planted huge quantities of explosives by the Naxalites in the Khori forest of Chofla Panchayat. After this, the security forces marked the location and excavated the land, where the explosives hidden in four tin drums were recovered. The recovered four drums are estimated to contain about two quintals of explosives. It is said that the recovered explosives were deposited by Naxalites with the intention of targeting the security forces.In the campaign, SSB 16th Corps B Company Commander I. Hemachandra Singh said that 16 Corps SSB B Company Simultala, D Company Belhar, Chandramandih and Simultala Police had found explosives during search operation on the basis of secret information.
