According to media reports, bulldozers have been run on three temples in Rajgarh, Alwar. Due to which the idols of about 300 years old Shiva temple have been fragmented. Videos and pictures of temple demolition are going viral on social media.


It is being said that on April 17, the Shiva temple of Rajgarh has been demolished. Under the master plan, a bulldozer was run to demolish the shops and houses that were obstructed in the middle of the round circle of the town to the intersection of the fair. In this sequence, the administration team reached the temple with a bulldozer, calling the temple an encroachment and they broke the dome of the temple. After this the Shivling was cut with the help of a cutter. During this, idols of other gods and goddesses including Hanuman ji have been broken.

Allegation - Revenge taken for voting for BJP

Local citizens say that we had gone to Congress MLA Johri Lal Meena after complaining about the temple being demolished. He said that you make the board of BJP and complain to us. Local citizens alleged that they were avenged for voting for the BJP. Temples and houses have been demolished because of this.

Local residents told that MLA Johrilal Meena had told the stage that if Congress had a board, the bulldozer would not have run. Now that the Acacia tree has been sown, where will the mango come from? Complaint filed against three including Congress MLA

The Braj Bhoomi Kalyan Parishad has accused the Congress MLA and three officials of demolition of three temples. After which he lodged a complaint against Rajgarh Congress MLA Johrilal Meena, SDM and CIO of the municipality at Rajgarh police station.

Johri Meena accuses BJP board

After the complaint was registered, Rajgarh MLA Johri Lal Meena has given a clarification. There is a BJP board in Rajgarh. The MLA said that in the board of 35 councilors, 34 MLAs belong to the BJP. One is from Congress. In such a situation, removal of encroachment, widening of road and removal of temple is taken by the BJP board. One councilor cannot change the decision of 34 councillors. The MLA said that I and my family have faith in God. We haven't done this.

Ramlal Sharma compares Gehlot to Aurangzeb

Rajasthan BJP spokesperson and MLA Ramlal Sharma has made serious allegations against the Gehlot government. MLA Ramlal Sharma said that at the time when bulldozers were going on in Jahangirpuri on the encroachment of rioters, at the same time Congress government in Rajasthan demolished 300 years old pagoda in Alwar with bulldozer to take revenge of Jahangirpuri. Gehlot, who was crying over the demolition of the encroachments by the rioters, did not take a moment to demolish the pagoda as Aurangzeb.


On the other hand, Gehlot government minister Pratap Singh Khachariyawas said that BJP is lying. The chairman of the Rajgarh Urban Bodies Board is from the BJP. The temple has been demolished at the behest of them. Whereas our MLA opposed it.

BJP delegation will go to Alwar

BJP state president Satish Poonia said that the party will send a delegation to Alwar in this matter. In which Sikar MP Sumedhanand Saraswati, Party Vice President Narayan Singh Deol, MLA Chandrakanta Meghwal are included. All three people will go to Alwar and send me a report in three days.

Poonia said that I do not understand how 300 years old temple can be encroached. The Congress MLA talked about bringing 34 councilors. All this action has been done at the behest of the government. Satish Poonia said that Johri Lal Meena's son was accused of rape. He is seen saying in the video that if you accuse my son, you will face the punishment for your actions. The MLA has done all this to scare the public.
