Rajasthan News: A case of fraud has been registered against Bikaner East MLA Siddhi Kumari and her sister Mahima Kumari at Bichwal police station on Tuesday. This report has been lodged by Rajiv Mishra on behalf of M/s Golden Tri Angle Forts and Palace Private Limited, the company operating Hotel Laxmi Niwas Palace on lease.History of lease and background of the disputeThe report alleges that Laxmi Niwas Palace was given to the company for the purpose of operating the hotel for 19 years through a registered lease deed on 24 May 1999. After this, the late Narendra Singh also signed a contract with the company for three times renewal of the lease (19-19-19 years) for 19 years on 15 June 1999.Allegation: Fear of eviction from the palace and recovery of moneyThe report states that Siddhi Kumari and Mahima Kumari collected a total of Rs 4 crore through cheques till 2 February 2011 by pressurizing and threatening to evict from the palace. Out of this, one crore rupees were given to Maharaja Ganga Singh Trust.Refusal to renew lease and return the amountWhen the company demanded the return of the amount given earlier, after not extending the lease period, both the sisters refused to return the money. A case of fraud has been registered on the basis of these allegations in the report.Direction of legal actionThe Bichwal police station has registered the case and started investigation.
