New Delhi : A video of Delhi Transport Minister Kailash Gehlot reprimanding some officials for failing to AC in a government office in the capital is going viral on social media. Delhi Chief Minister Arvind Kejriwal also shared the video on his Twitter handle on Saturday.

According to the information, Transport Minister Kailash Gehlot had arrived in East Delhi's Preet Vihar on Friday to inspect the SDM and Sub-Registrar Office. During this, when Gehlot found the AC installed there for the general public closed in the middle of the summer, he got angry on the officials. The minister reprimanded and said that after getting AC out of the rooms of the officers, put it in the hall for the public. Aam Aadmi Party (AAP) has also shared this video on its Twitter handle.

Gehlot also expressed displeasure over the employees not doing work on time. Along with this, strict instructions were also given to the officials so that people coming to the government offices should not face any kind of inconvenience.

The 'AAP' leader asked who is the SDM here? In the 59-second video clip, Gehlot can be heard asking an officer if we should remove the AC from your rooms as well. AC will work in your room, that's great, but public will bear the heat.

After this, he asked the SDM about this matter, to whom have you complained for this? Show me how many letters you have written? He said that by getting the AC out of the rooms of the officers, put it in the hall for the public.

The Transport Minister tweeted and wrote, "Arvind Kejriwal ji says that it is our duty to provide facilities to the public and if the public is upset then appropriate action will also be taken."

Let us tell you that about a week ago, Chief Minister Kejriwal had praised Delhi Transport Commissioner Ashish Kundra for traveling by DTC bus. Kejriwal had tweeted, "We are a people centric government. Our officers, ministers and MLAs are constantly working among the people. It is a good idea to have the state transport commissioner to directly look into the problems of the passengers while traveling by state bus. Rare sight."
