Arvind Kejriwal News: The issue of ban on firecrackers on Diwali in Delhi is hot this time as well like every year. Many people have called the ban on firecrackers anti-Hindu, but Aam Aadmi Party (AAP) convenor and former Delhi Chief Minister Arvind Kejriwal clearly called it a pollution issue. He said that this ban is not against any particular religion, but its purpose is to protect the health of all. Kejriwal said that the Supreme Court and the High Court have also given guidelines that firecrackers increase pollution and have a bad effect on the air quality of Delhi.

Kejriwal's stand on firecracker ban

Kejriwal says that Diwali is a festival of lights, not of firecrackers. Due to firecrackers, the level of toxic elements in the air increases, which directly affects the health of children, the elderly and asthma patients. He said, "This is not a Hindu-Muslim issue, but a matter of the health of all of us. Not only Hindus but people of every religion, every class are affected by pollution." Bonus and salary issue for MCD employees

Kejriwal, while referring to the cleanliness system of Delhi in his statement, also mentioned the improvements made in the MCD. According to him, for 18 years, the sanitation workers were not able to get salary on time and the sanitation system was also getting affected due to corruption. But, for the first time during the tenure of the AAP government, the employees have started getting salary on time. He told that a bonus of 23 crores has also been sent to the accounts of 64 thousand sanitation workers.

Allegation of corruption in Ayushman Yojana

Kejriwal also raised questions about the Ayushman Yojana of the Central Government. Citing the CAG report, he said that there are signs of corruption in this scheme. According to him, all medical services in Delhi are free, and the government bears the cost of treatment, medicines to operation. He said that Ayushman Yojana is not needed in the health system of Delhi, and the Center should adopt the Delhi model so that all the citizens of the country can get free health services.

The real purpose of the ban on firecrackers

The main reason for the ban on firecrackers by the Delhi government is the serious pollution problem of the city. The use of firecrackers during Diwali increases the level of air pollution in Delhi dangerously, causing respiratory problems and many other serious health problems to people. According to Kejriwal, the purpose of banning firecrackers is to provide relief from this increasing pollution so that every Delhiite can breathe in a healthy and clean air.

Conclusion

Kejriwal believes that the ban on firecrackers is not against any particular religion, but it is an effort to reduce pollution. He presented the current health and cleanliness system of Delhi as an example and said that issues like pollution and health are not of any particular religion, but are for the safety and well-being of every citizen.
