In this, he has described EVM as a black box. He has asked the Election Commission to maintain the transparency of EVMs.

Congress MP Rahul Gandhi wrote in his post, when democratic institutions are captured, the only security lies in the electoral processes. These electoral processes are transparent to the public. At present, EVM is a black box. Either the Election Commission should ensure complete transparency of EVMs and electoral processes or end them.

Fight over EVM after election results

After the Lok Sabha election results, the turmoil has started once again over EVM (Electronic Voting Machine). On Sunday, it suddenly gained momentum when Rahul Gandhi and other opposition leaders cited a news. It was alleged that the phone of a relative of the Shiv Sena candidate from Mumbai North West seat was connected to the EVM during counting.

Musk had said in his post that we should stop using EVMs. It can be hacked through AI.

When democratic institutions are captured, the only safeguard lies in electoral processes that are transparent to the public.

EVM is currently a black box. EC must either ensure complete transparency of the machines and processes, or abolish them.
