The accused has been identified as Vikram Yadav.

According to the police, Vikram Yadav is a fireman of the Uttar Pradesh Fire Department. The police arrested the accused and sent him to jail. Significantly, during the Mangala Aarti on the day of Krishna Janmashtami, a huge crowd was present in the Banke Bihari temple. During this a stampede broke out in which two people died. During this, while on one hand people were upset due to the huge crowd and were whining for a little breath, while on the other hand this person was misbehaving with women by taking advantage of the crowd.

In the video, a man wearing a uniform was caught on camera misbehaving with the woman. At first it was said on social media that this is a UP Police jawan, but later it was found that this is not a UP Police jawan but a person from the fire brigade.

CM Yogi Adityanath has constituted a team of two members regarding the stampede during Mangala Aarti, which will investigate and submit the report within 15 days. Apart from this, this team will also suggest what should be done so that such accidents do not happen in future.
