Shrimad Bhagavad Gita: Like the national anthem, national anthem, national flag, there will soon be a national book in the country. The Government of India can declare Shrimad Bhagavad Gita as a national scripture. To implement this, the government is seriously considering it. For this, the Government of India is taking opinion from different ministries. It is noteworthy that the government is doing this exercise on the basis of a letter sent by Gopal Shetty, the BJP MP from Maharashtra.

Maharashtra MP wrote a letter

It is noteworthy that on July 5, BJP MP from Maharashtra Gopal Shetty wrote a letter to Union Home Minister Amit Shah. In this letter, he has demanded the Home Minister to declare Shrimad Bhagwat Gita as a national scripture. Home Minister Shah has sent a reply to this letter on 18 July itself. Under Secretary (Coordination-1) Renu Suri has given information about this in an office memorandum on August 1, 22. According to the memorandum, instructions have been given to send Gopal Shetty's letter to the concerned ministries for necessary action.

The Ministry of Home Affairs has also sought the opinion of the Ministry of Education in this matter. The Ministry of Education has also sent its remarks on August 10 regarding the declaration of Shrimad Bhagwat Gita as a national scripture. After this, the Ministry of Home Affairs has now sought the opinion of the Ministry of Culture regarding the declaration of Shrimad Bhagwat Gita as a national book.
