Addressing a program in Shivamogga, Karnataka, Sadhvi Pragya Thakur said, 'Hindus have the right to respond to those who attack their dignity. Keep weapons in your homes and if nothing else, at least use a knife to cut vegetables. He further said, 'Don't know when what situation will come. Everyone has the right to self-defense. If someone intrudes into our house and attacks us, then it is our right to give a befitting reply.

Pragya Thakur said this on love jihad

BJP MP from Bhopal, Sadhvi Pragya Thakur (Sadhvi Pragya Thakur) also gave a statement on Love Jihad. He said, 'Love Jihad. They have a tradition of Jihad. If nothing else, they do love jihad. Even if they love, they do Jihad in it. We (Hindus) also love God. A sannyasin loves his God.

Speaking at the annual conference of Hindu Jagran Vedic South Region in Karnataka, he said, 'Sanyasis say eliminate all oppressors and sinners in this world created by God. If the true definition of love will not survive here, then answer the people involved in it. Respond in the same way to those involved in love jihad. Protect your girls and teach them the right values.
