Delhi Election 2025: Political rhetoric is intensifying amid the Delhi Assembly election campaign. BJP leader Ramesh Bidhuri has given his reaction after the recent claim of Aam Aadmi Party (AAP) national convener and former Delhi Chief Minister Arvind Kejriwal. Kejriwal had alleged that the BJP could make Ramesh Bidhuri the face for the post of Chief Minister in Delhi. Bidhuri has clarified his position by issuing a long statement on this claim.Bidhuri's statement: "I am not a contender for any post"BJP leader Ramesh Bidhuri said that he is not a contender for any post. He accused Kejriwal and Aam Aadmi Party of spreading propaganda using his name. Bidhuri said, "I am a dedicated worker and the party has given me the opportunity to serve many times. I have been an MP twice and an MLA thrice. I am proud of the trust of the people and the party. I only believe in serving the public and do not claim any post." Claim of public support for BJPBidhuri said in his statement that the people of Delhi are now fed up with the promises and false claims of Aam Aadmi Party. He said that only BJP can bring stability and development in Delhi. He urged the people not to fall prey to the temptations of Aam Aadmi Party and support BJP. Bidhuri said, "The people of Delhi will prove by giving majority to BJP that they want development."Counterattack on Kejriwal's allegationsArvind Kejriwal had said in a conversation with the media that his sources are telling that BJP can soon declare Ramesh Bidhuri as the face for the post of Chief Minister of Delhi. He raised the question and said, "Bidhuri ji was an MP for 10 years, but what work did he do? I just want to ask this on behalf of the people of Delhi."Responding to this allegation, Bidhuri said, "Kejriwal ji's allegations are baseless and unfounded. He himself has come to know that his party is going to lose in Delhi. That is why he is making false claims. I am only a soldier of the party and I have the full support of the party."Amit Shah's statementBefore Ramesh Bidhuri's statement, Union Home Minister Amit Shah had also hit back at Arvind Kejriwal's claims. Shah said, "Now Kejriwal will tell who will be the CM face of BJP in Delhi? This is not his job. Aam Aadmi Party has brought Delhi to the abyss in 10 years. If you open the tap, there is dirty water, if you open the window, there is foul smell, if you go out, there are broken roads. The condition of Delhi is getting worse day by day."Amit Shah further said that the AAP government has turned Delhi into hell. "People cannot bathe in Yamuna during Chhath Puja. The water of Yamuna has become poisonous. There are heaps of garbage on the roads. All this is the result of Aam Aadmi Party's policies."BJP's election agendaAssembly elections in Delhi are near and this time BJP is putting all its might to come to power. The party's focus is on improving Delhi's infrastructure, improving education and health services and creating employment opportunities. Amit Shah and other BJP leaders are constantly engaged in campaigning and calling the policies of Aam Aadmi Party a failure.Challenges of Aam Aadmi PartyThe biggest challenge before AAP is to fulfill its promises. In the last 10 years, the party has made some improvements in the field of education and health, but the opposition says that there is still a lot to be done at the ground level. The opposition alleges that the Aam Aadmi Party has only campaigned, while the problems of Delhi remain as they are.ConclusionThese days rhetoric is at its peak in Delhi politics. The war of words between Arvind Kejriwal and Ramesh Bidhuri shows how hot the election atmosphere is. While on one hand Kejriwal is targeting the BJP, on the other hand BJP leaders and workers are trying to create an atmosphere in their favor in Delhi. Only time will tell who will win the elections, but for now both parties are attacking each other sharply.
