A case of massive fire has come to light in a settlement in Durg district of Chhattisgarh. The incident is being told of Surya Nagar under Cantonment police station area of ​​Bhilai. According to the information, the fire was so terrible that more than 100 huts of the settlement were burnt to ashes. The fire has become so fierce that even the gas cylinders kept in the huts are getting blasted. Till now 10 cylinders have been blasted. Due to which the fire is spreading further. However, there is no report of any casualty in this incident.

According to the locals, when people were busy in their respective work in Surya Nagar Basti of Chhawni police station area on Saturday afternoon. Then at around 2.30 a house suddenly caught fire. Within no time the fire took a formidable form. Gradually the fire engulfed more than 100 houses.

At the same time, local people say that even after giving information by them, the fire brigade vehicles did not reach the spot for a long time, due to which the fire became more frightening. Angered by this, the locals were trying to block the wheel, which was stopped by the policemen with great persuasion. The cause of the fire is yet to be ascertained, and the damage caused by the fire is yet to be assessed.

On the information of the fire, the vehicles of the district administration and fire brigade of BSP are trying to douse the fire. Police is reaching the spot and controlling the crowd.
