The company has launched a new ad-free premium subscription plan named Premium Annual. The annual price of this plan is Rs 299.

While the annual plans of Netflix and Amazon cost thousands, Mukesh Ambani has given a big blow to these companies by launching the annual plan of OTT platform Jio Cinema for just Rs 299.

You will have fun for 12 months for Rs 299

According to media reports, Reliance Jio has introduced a new premium subscription plan without any advertisements for its customers. It is considered to be one of the most affordable subscription plans for premium content. The new ad-free premium plan is priced at Rs 299 for a period of 12 months. It is suitable for those users who want to enjoy ad free content.

With the new Premium Annual Plan, you will get to watch all the content including ‘Premium’ without any ads for one year. Apart from this you can enjoy content in 4K quality. You will be able to watch content in offline mode on the mobile app. Customers also get the facility to watch exclusive series, movies, Hollywood content, children's shows and TV entertainment on any device including connected TV in this plan.

Annual Premium JioCinema Plan is currently available. You can subscribe to it through JioCinema's official website or mobile app. However, Jio has not clarified whether it provides access to one screen or more.

Annual plan is much cheaper than monthly plan

The annual plan offered by JioCinema is better than the monthly plan. The monthly single-screen plan is priced at Rs 29 per month due to promotional offers. However, when annual calculation is done, it comes to a total of Rs 348, which is Rs 49 more than the new Rs 299 plan. The new plan is much more affordable than the regular price of Rs 59 per month.

Situation of Netflix-Amazon

Talking about Netflix and Amazon Prime, to get their subscription you have to pay at least Rs 99 to Rs 149. After this, the price of the plan keeps increasing according to the features and video quality.
