Farmer associated with Gorakhpur shared his experience

Gorakhpur farmer Lakshmi Prajapati spoke to PM Modi. PM Modi asked Lakshmi Prajapati about her well-being. Also took information about his work. Answering PM Modi's questions, farmer Lakshmi Prajapati said that her entire family is involved in the employment of terracotta craft. He has formed Lakshmi Self Help Group. A total of 75 people from 12 families are associated with this group. And the annual income of all these people exceeds one crore rupees.

Benefits of ODOP

When asked about ODOP, Lakshmi Prajapati said that I thank the government for providing equipment to all the craftsmen under ODOP. There is also a chance to participate in exhibitions held in different cities. Regarding the schemes of the previous government and the present double engine government, farmer Lakshmi Prajapati said that in the earlier government the schemes were not known due to which one could not get benefits, but now the schemes are also known and They also get direct benefits.

Farmers of Punjab should also tell the benefits of profitable farming

In the same sequence, PM Modi also learned about the experiences of farmer Gurvander Singh Bajwa from Gurdaspur, Punjab. PM Modi wanted to know from farmer Gurvander Singh about his farming experience, to which farmer Gurvander Singh said that earlier he wanted to develop his farming, but due to lack of suitable resources, farming was not able to develop. But now since the equipment is available, we are getting a lot of benefits. He told that now he is working on fire-free, poison-free farming. While this saved them from debt, small farmers also benefited a lot. Along with this, the environment is getting benefits from this farming, the soil is getting benefits, the fertility of the soil has increased and now the need of fertilizer is also less.
