Before leaving for Europe, PM Modi said on Sunday that it is indeed an honor to visit this Central European country on the occasion of completion of 75 years of diplomatic relations between India and Austria.

PM Modi expressed hope that during his visit, there will be discussions on strengthening relations between the two countries and finding new ways of cooperation. Prime Minister Modi said this while reacting to the social media post of Austrian Chancellor Karl Nehammer, in which it is said that he is very eager to welcome the Prime Minister of India, the world's largest democratic country, Narendra Modi in Vienna next week. In a post on 'X', Nehammer had said, "This visit is a special honour as it is the first visit of an Indian Prime Minister to my country in more than 40 years. It is also important as we are celebrating 75 years of diplomatic relations with India."

India-Austria relations will get strengthened

Nehmer said, "We will have the opportunity to further strengthen our bilateral relations and talk about excellent cooperation on many geopolitical challenges." Responding to Nehammer's remarks, Prime Minister Modi thanked him. Modi said in a post on 'X', "It is indeed an honour to visit Austria on this historic occasion. I look forward to discussions on strengthening relations between the two countries and exploring new avenues of cooperation." He said that the shared values ​​of democracy, freedom and rule of law are the basis on which the two countries will together build a continued close partnership.

PM Modi will be in Russia for 2 days

Prime Minister Modi will go on a two-day visit to Russia on July 8 and 9, where he will attend the 22nd India-Russia Annual Summit and the multifaceted relations between these two countries will be reviewed. Russian President Putin is eager to meet his friend PM Modi. Moscow and the Kremlin have been decorated like a bride to welcome Modi. Modi will go to Austria from Russia. He will be in Austria on July 9 and 10. According to the Indian Foreign Ministry, this will be the first visit of an Indian Prime Minister to Austria in 41 years. He will meet the President of the Republic of Austria Alexander Van der Bellen and hold talks with the Chancellor of Austria. According to the ministry, Prime Minister Modi and Chancellor Nehammer will also address top entrepreneurs of India and Austria. Modi will also interact with members of the Indian community in Vienna.
