On this occasion, PM Modi will provide certificates and loans to the beneficiaries of PM Vishwakarma Yojana, which will be an important support for the artisans.

Importance of PM Vishwakarma Yojana

Under the PM Vishwakarma Yojana, solid support is given to artisans across the country. PM Modi will distribute loans to 18 beneficiaries under 18 trades in this program. The scheme not only seeks to improve the lives of artisans but also honors their work and legacy. Along with this, he will also release a commemorative postage stamp on the completion of one year of progress under PM Vishwakarma, which will symbolize cherishing their contribution.

Foundation stone of PM Mitra Park

After this, PM Modi will lay the foundation stone of PM Mega Integrated Textile Region and Apparel (PM Mitra) Park in Amravati, Maharashtra. The park will be spread over 1000 acres and will be developed by Maharashtra Industrial Development Corporation (MIDC). The government has approved setting up seven PM Mitra Parks for the textile industry, which is an important step towards making India a global textile manufacturing and export hub.

This park will help in building world-class industrial infrastructure and will play an important role in attracting foreign investment, as well as promoting innovation and employment generation.

Step towards skill development and women empowerment

In this visit, PM Modi will also launch the "Acharya Chanakya Skill Development Center" scheme. Under this scheme, skill development training will be provided to people between the age of 15 to 45 years, so that they can become self-reliant. Every year about 1,50,000 people will be given this training for free.

Apart from this, "Punyashlok Ahilyadevi Holkar Mahila Startup Yojana" will also be launched. Under this scheme, women-led startups will be provided financial assistance in the initial stage, which includes support up to Rs 25 lakh. Under this, 25 percent of the provision will be reserved for women from economically weaker sections, which will help women become self-reliant.
