The park will be spread over 1000 acres and will be developed by Maharashtra Industrial Development Corporation (MIDC). The government has approved setting up seven PM Mitra Parks for the textile industry, which is an important step towards making India a global textile manufacturing and export hub.This park will help in building world-class industrial infrastructure and will play an important role in attracting foreign investment, as well as promoting innovation and employment generation.Step towards skill development and women empowermentIn this visit, PM Modi will also launch the "Acharya Chanakya Skill Development Center" scheme. Under this scheme, skill development training will be provided to people between the age of 15 to 45 years, so that they can become self-reliant. Every year about 1,50,000 people will be given this training for free.Apart from this, "Punyashlok Ahilyadevi Holkar Mahila Startup Yojana" will also be launched. Under this scheme, women-led startups will be provided financial assistance in the initial stage, which includes support up to Rs 25 lakh.
