Rajasthan Budget 2024: The first full budget of Bhajanlal government will be presented on July 10. This time the government had taken the vote on account till July 30. In the meeting of the Business Advisory Committee (BAC) held in the Assembly on Tuesday under the chairmanship of Speaker Vasudev Devnani, the work of the House till July 10 has been decided. This time the budget of Rajasthan is coming before the Center. On the first day of the budget session of the Assembly on July 3, Bharatiya Adivasi Party (BAP) MLA Jaikrishna Patel, who won the Bagidora assembly by-election, will be sworn in. After this, the proceedings of the House will be adjourned after placing the BAC report in the House and then paying tribute to 12 deceased leaders.

Question Hour and Zero Hour proceedings will be held on July 4. The Assembly will not run from July 5 to 9, the budget will be presented on 10. The BAC will meet once again to decide the work ahead from July 10.

4 days debate on budget, reply possible on 16th

After presenting the budget, BAC will meet again to decide on further work. There will be debate on budget for 4 days. There will be debate on budget on 11th, 12th and 13th July. After the debate on budget on 16th July, the government will give its reply, although it is yet to get approval in BAC meeting.

Preparations to start lunch break in the afternoon on the lines of Parliament in the Assembly

Now there are preparations to start lunch break in the Assembly on the lines of Parliament. A consensus has been reached on lunch break in the all-party meeting chaired by the Assembly Speaker. There is a possibility of a decision on the time of lunch break soon. At present, proceedings in Rajasthan Assembly go on continuously from 11 am to evening, except when the House is adjourned due to uproar, the House runs continuously. There is no lunch break. In the all-party meeting, MLAs of all parties including Congress, BJP have advocated starting lunch break.

Speaker will decide the time

The time for lunch break can be decided after the completion of zero hour work, from 1:30 to 2:30 in the afternoon or at a suitable time around it, which will be decided by the Speaker.

Speaker Vasudev Devnani said in the meeting that on the lines of Lok Sabha, the time for lunch break can also be decided in Rajasthan Legislative Assembly. This will enable all the MLAs to have food at the same time, after which everyone will be able to participate in the proceedings together. Leader of Opposition Tikaram Julie said that a consensus has been reached on having a lunch break in the House.
