Prajwal Revanna Case: Janata Dal Secular leader Prajwal Revanna has been sent to 6-day police remand by a special court. Prajwal's name has surfaced in a sex scandal. Many of his pornographic videos went viral. After this, a young man had alleged that Prajwal had exploited his mother. After this matter came to light, he went abroad. The Ministry of External Affairs said that his diplomatic passport would be cancelled. After this, Prajwal released a video and said that he would appear before the Special Investigation Team. He has returned to India and the special court has sent him to 6-day police custody.

Prajwal's father and JDS leader HD Revanna were also accused in this case and after going to jail, he has also come out on bail. Investigation is going on on the kidnapping charges against him.

What is the matter?

MP Prajwal Revanna is contesting the elections from Karnataka's Hassan Lok Sabha seat this time too. Voting took place in the second phase in his Lok Sabha constituency. On 26 April, along with the voting, many of his obscene videos started going viral. Meanwhile, Prajwal went abroad. An FIR was registered against him and his father HD Revanna. After this, HD Revanna was arrested and came out on bail after being in custody for a few days. The investigation of the allegations against him is going on. Meanwhile, Prajwal remained missing. News kept coming that he is in Germany.

Returned to the country on the talk of cancelling passport

Interpol issued a Blue Corner notice against Prajwal. Meanwhile, the Special Investigation Team also demanded the Foreign Ministry to cancel Prajwal's diplomatic passport. The Chief Minister of Karnataka wrote a letter to PM Modi twice in this regard. After this, the Foreign Ministry issued a show cause notice to Prajwal and asked to cancel his diplomatic passport. After receiving the notice of passport cancellation, Prajwal released a video and denied all the allegations against him and said that he was in depression. Along with this, he said that he would soon appear before the Special Investigation Team. Now he has returned to India and is in police custody.

SIT calls Revanna a pervert

SPP Ashok Naik, on behalf of SIT, argued that MP Prajwal Revanna is accused of rape. His obscene video went viral before the Lok Sabha elections. There are more than a hundred victims in the case. A few months ago, a ban was imposed on broadcasting it in the media. He argued before the judge that he is a pervert and he videotaped his obscene scene.

Responding to the judge's question, SPP Ashok Naik said that he left the country after the video went viral. If he is arrested and investigated, the truth will be known. There are many victims in the case and they are yet to come forward. Many people have a habit of going abroad. His arrest is necessary to question him as well. After the video went viral, many women are in trouble. The husbands of the women are looking at them with suspicion.
