Politics News: The party has shown the way out to senior Maharashtra Congress leader Sanjay Nirupam. The Congress President has expelled Nirupam from the party for six years. He is accused of being involved in anti-party activities. For the past several days, he was continuously making anti-party statements.

Everything was not going well between Congress and Sanjay Nirupam for the last several days. Especially after Uddhav Thackeray gave ticket to Amol Kirtikar on Mumbai West seat, Sanjay was angry at Congress and was continuously making statements against the party. Apart from this, he was also continuously targeting Amol. Since then it was believed that either Nirupam could leave Congress or Congress could take some action against him. On Wednesday afternoon, Congress had indicated this by excluding Nirupam from the list of star campaigners.

Sanjay Nirupam had said that Congress should not destroy stationery.

Congress has suspended Sanjay Nirupam from the party for six years. Sanjay Nirupam was also apprehensive that disciplinary action could be taken against him by the party. That is why on Wednesday afternoon, when he was removed from the list of star campaigners, Nirupam had posted on social media asking Congress not to spend its stationery, the deadline has been reached and he himself is going to take a big decision on Thursday.

Sanjay Nirupam was going to make a big announcement tomorrow

Sanjay Nirupam had earlier announced that he will take a major decision on the action taken by Congress at 11.30 am on Thursday. Since this announcement, it was believed that Nirupam could say goodbye to Congress. Actually, Sanjay Nirupam was angry with Shiv Sena declaring its candidate for West Mumbai seat. He had also appealed to the Congress high command to reconsider the candidate here and had even proposed that a friendly fight should take place. However, the matter could not be resolved.

Sanjay Nirupam changed bio on X

After being expelled from Congress, Sanjay Nirupam changed his bio on social media platform X and also removed his cover photo. Apart from this, a new profile pic was also uploaded. Till now Sanjay Nirupam was seen with Rahul Gandhi in his cover photo and profile pic. Sanjay Nirupam had earlier written himself as 'A Congress Man' in his profile, now he has removed this also.
