The stock market had a very bad start on Monday. The 30-share Sensex of the Bombay Stock Exchange opened at 57,005 with a fall of 1148 points, while the Nifty of the National Stock Exchange also fell strongly and it lost 328 points to open at the level of 1,7046. At present, the BSE Sensex has slipped 1348 points and has come down to 57 thousand and is trading at the level of 56,804. Out of 30 Sensex companies, except TCS, the shares of all others are on the red mark. On the other hand, if we talk about the Nifty index, at present, it is trading at the level of 16,964, falling below 17,000, taking a fall of 410 points.Earlier, on Friday, the last trading day of the week, there was a ruckus as soon as the stock market opened and had closed on the red mark after the whole day's trading. The BSE Sensex finally closed at 58,152, down 733 points, while the NSE Nifty also lost 231 points to close at 17,375.
