Importance of Ghatasthapana in Navratri? (Navratri Ghatsthapana Importance)

Ghatasthapana (kalash installation) has special significance on Teej, festivals of Hinduism. Ghatsthapana Puja Method (Navratri Ghatsthapana Vidhi)

Om dhanyamasi dhinuhi devan pranaya tyo danaya tva vyanay tva. Dhargamanu prasitimayushe dha devo vah savitha hiranyapanih per pregnant woman, panina chaksushe tva montham payossi.

Mantra to keep coconut on Kalash

While chanting this mantra, wrap the coconut in a red cloth and place it on the Kalash.

Sharadiya Navratri Ghatsthapana Rules

The first one third of the day is considered auspicious for Ghatasthapana on the day of Pratipada Tithi. If for some reason, the Kalash is not established during this period, then it can be done in Abhijeet Muhurta. If you do Ghatasthapana in the house, then the mother should be worshiped regularly for 9 days. Perform aarti in the morning and evening and offer bhog.
