Sheikh Hasina News: Former Bangladesh Prime Minister Sheikh Hasina recently said in an emotional and candid speech that "Allah has kept me alive for a reason." Her statement was not just a manifestation of personal suffering, but has become a symbol of Bangladesh's current political instability, violence and call for justice.Hasina's emotional conversation on social mediaThis comment came when Sheikh Hasina was interacting with the families of leaders and workers of her party, Awami League, through social media. She said, "The day will come," when those who killed and tortured innocent people will be brought to justice. This is considered to be her most scathing public statement since she came to India during the violent student movements in August.Open attack on Muhammad YunusHasina also attacked Muhammad Yunus, a key advisor to the interim government of Bangladesh, in her statement. She described Yunus as a "double-faced" person who never truly loved the people. According to them, Yunus collected money from people on high interest in the name of microfinance and used it to live a luxurious life abroad. Hasina also said that "we did not know his real face earlier, so we supported him, but now his hunger for power is burning the country."Bangladesh heading towards a 'terrorist country'?Hasina expressed deep concern over the current situation in Bangladesh and said that the country which was once considered a model of development has now assumed the image of a 'terrorist nation'. She alleged that the Awami League, police, journalists, lawyers, and artists are being targeted. The law and order situation in the country has deteriorated so much that even the media is not able to freely show news of rape, murder and robbery.Family tragedy and call for justiceRecalling the murder of her father, Father of the Nation Sheikh Mujibur Rahman and her entire family on the same day, Hasina said, "I know what the pain of losing loved ones is." He also said that perhaps Allah has kept him alive so that he can bring to justice those who have made Bangladesh a bastion of violence and fear.'I am coming' – A leader's confidenceWhen a supporter asked him how he was, he replied, "I am alive, son." And when another prayed that Allah would give him a chance to power again, he replied, "He will. That is why Allah has kept me alive. I am coming." This answer not only hints at a political comeback but also symbolizes a strong determination.Extradition demand and political pressureIt is worth noting that the interim government of Bangladesh is trying to extradite Sheikh Hasina from India. Recently at the BIMSTEC conference, Yunus talked to Prime Minister Narendra Modi about this subject and alleged that Hasina was destabilizing the situation in Bangladesh.
