Dungarpur. A heart-wrenching news has come to the fore in the Ramsagada police station area of ​​Dungarpur district of the state adjoining the state of Gujarat. In Sharam village here, a step mother killed two innocent children by drowning them in a tub full of water. The incident is said to have happened four days ago. But the accused stepmother has confessed to committing the crime on Sunday after committing suicide. On this, the police administration got the dead bodies of the children brought back today and their post-mortem has been done from the medical board.

According to the Ramsagada police station, the incident is being told of June 3. Badri's first wife, a resident of Sharam, had left for some other reason. By his first wife, Badri had two children, a boy and a girl. The wife left the children with Badri. On this, Badri married Durga about two years ago. Badri and his father live in Gujarat as a laborer.

On the afternoon of June 3, Durga killed her 3-year-old stepson Vishal and 4-year-old daughter Nisha by drowning them in a tub full of water in the bathroom. Durga made the family members and the villagers bury them in the soil by making a story of drowning as an accident of both the children.

After that on June 5, Durga went somewhere without informing. When she came back on 6th June, her family members asked her the reason. On this Durga started crying bitterly. Durga spewed the truth when she was self-inflicted. Durga told that she had killed the stepchildren to avoid the responsibility of bringing them up. On this, the family members informed the Ramsagada police station about the matter.

On information, the police reached the spot this morning and taking full information about the incident, arrested the accused stepmother. Bichhiwada SDM, Tehsildar and Deputy also reached the spot. Both the bodies buried in the presence of the SDM were taken out. Later he was taken to the mortuary of the district hospital. There, the police got the post-mortem done of both the bodies from the medical board. The police is interrogating the accused stepmother by registering a case of murder.
