Prime Minister Crop Insurance Scheme

Crop insurance scheme has been started by the Central Government so that farmers can get financial help in case of loss of crops. Under the Prime Minister Crop Insurance Scheme, an effort has been made to bring the farmers at one place. The government has a vision and mission for this scheme. Financial assistance is provided under the insurance scheme in case crops are damaged by disaster, pests or drought.

Kisan credit card

Kisan Credit Card (KCC) scheme was launched by the Central Government in 1998 to provide adequate credit to farmers for their farming or agricultural expenses. Under these agricultural or central government schemes, the Government of India provides assistance to farmers with agricultural loans at a concessional rate of 4 percent per annum in the form of government subsidy for agriculture. Till now 2.5 crore farmers have availed the benefit of this scheme.

Prime Minister Kisan Samman Nidhi Yojana

PM Kisan Samman Nidhi Yojana has been started by the Central Government, which gives Rs 6 thousand annually to the farmers. Any farmer in the country can apply under this scheme. This amount is given in three installments, which are given at an interval of 4 months. It can be applied through the official website.
