New Delhi: Thunderstorm and thunderstorm conditions are prevailing in Delhi and its adjoining areas. In view of this, the Meteorological Department has issued a warning and appealed to the people to stay in their homes.

Crops and houses can be damaged

Let us inform that the wind is blowing at a speed of 50 to 60 km in Delhi and surrounding areas. Strong winds can damage standing crops. There is also a possibility of damage to kutcha houses/walls and huts in this storm. There may also be incidents of uprooting of trees and poles.

Meteorological Department made this appeal

The department has asked to stay indoors, close windows and doors and avoid travel if possible.

People who are outside can stay under the trees for some time.

Do not lie on a concrete floor or lean against concrete walls.

- Unplug electrical/electronic equipment.

Get out of water sources immediately.

- Keep away from all objects that conduct electricity.

Jaipur diverted flight

Bad weather in Delhi has also affected flight operations. In view of the bad weather, Air India flights coming to Delhi have been diverted to Jaipur. The Director of Jaipur Airport said that the Air India flight coming from Kathmandu to Delhi landed in Jaipur at around 5.30 pm. There were 163 passengers on that flight. Currently waiting for the weather to improve. After that the flight will be diverted to Delhi.
