By-elections on which seats in which state?

The 13 seats on which by-elections are being held on Wednesday include 4 seats in West Bengal, 3 in Himachal Pradesh, 2 in Uttarakhand, 1 in Bihar, 1 in Madhya Pradesh, 1 in Punjab and 1 in Tamil Nadu. Let us tell you that the notification for by-elections on all these seats was issued by the Election Commission on June 14.

  • In Bengal's Maniktala, TMC's Supti Pandey will face BJP's Kalyan Chaubey.
  • In Bengal's Raiganj assembly seat, TMC's Krishna Kalyani will face BJP candidate Manas Kumar Ghosh.
  • In Bengal's Bagdah assembly seat, TMC's Madhuparna is facing BJP's Binay Kumar Vishwas.
  • TMC has given ticket to Mukut Mani Adhikari from Bengal's Ranaghat South. At the same time, BJP's Manoj Kumar Vishwas is in the fray.
  • In Amarwara of Madhya Pradesh, BJP's Kamlesh Shah and Congress's Dheeran Shah Inwati are face to face.
