36% Indian Grandmasters are from Tamil Nadu - Stalin

It has a vibrant culture and the oldest language is 'Tamil'. ' It's home."

Earlier, five-time world chess champion Viswanathan Anand presented the torch of the Olympiad to PM Narendra Modi and Tamil Nadu CM M.K. handed over to Stalin. The torch was then handed over to young Grandmaster R Pragyanand and others at the Jawaharlal Nehru Stadium in Chennai. The Olympiad will be held till August 10.
