Bihar Politics: Today is the death anniversary of former Prime Minister and Bharat Ratna Atal Bihari Vajpayee. Chief Minister Nitish Kumar has announced to celebrate the death anniversary of Atal Bihari Vajpayee as a state function. On the occasion of the death anniversary of Atal Bihari Vajpayee, Governor Rajendra Vishwanath Arlekar and Chief Minister Nitish Kumar on Friday paid their emotional tribute by garlanding the statue in Pataliputra Park.

Deputy CM and Bihar Assembly Speaker were also present

The Chief Minister announced to celebrate the death anniversary of former Prime Minister and Bharat Ratna Atal Bihari Vajpayee as a state function. During this, Deputy Chief Minister Samrat Chaudhary, Bihar Assembly Speaker Nandkishore Yadav, Water Resources Minister cum Parliamentary Affairs Minister Vijay Kumar Chaudhary, BJP State President cum Revenue and Land Reforms Minister Dr. Dilip Kumar Jaiswal were also present.

President Murmu and PM Modi paid tribute

President Draupadi Murmu and Prime Minister Narendra Modi on Friday paid tribute to former Prime Minister Atal Bihari Vajpayee on his death anniversary. Union ministers and leaders of various parties, among others, visited the 'Sadaiv Atal' memorial in Delhi to pay their tributes.

In his tribute, PM Modi said that he is remembered by countless people for his unique contribution to nation building. He devoted his entire life to ensure that our fellow citizens lead a better life. PM Modi also said that we will continue to work to fulfill his dream for the country.
