BJP Vs JDU-RJD: The 2024 Lok Sabha elections are very important for BJP and Prime Minister Narendra Modi. Analysts say rising prices of every essential commodity, rising unemployment, unresolved farmers' issues and Rs 15 lakh in every bank account, two crore jobs every year, 'achhe din' and other old election promises have not been fulfilled. The reason is the ruling party is facing anti-incumbency wave.

The BJP has managed to gain political ground in states like Madhya Pradesh, Maharashtra and Karnataka by breaking the government in Uttar Pradesh, Uttarakhand and Haryana on the basis of Hindutva politics, giving it the name 'Operation Lotus'. Maharashtra is an example of breaking the government. However, the BJP lost power in a similar fashion when Chief Minister Nitish Kumar adopted the same strategy in August last year and ousted the saffron party from power in Bihar.

BJP think tank believes that Nitish Kumar and Tejashwi Yadav will get an edge in Bihar due to caste based census. Therefore, she is making every possible effort to join caste alliance of JDU and RJD and create division in their core voters.

Original voters of Kurmi-Kushwaha JDU

JDU has its core voters in Bihar between Kurmi and Koiri (Kushwaha). For the last 17 years, due to the government of Nitish Kumar, the people of both these castes are very strong financially. He is loyal to Nitish Kumar. Upendra Kushwaha's recent rebellious move could be an attempt by the saffron party to create confusion in the Kurmi vote bank. Upendra Kushwaha openly opposed the leadership of Tejashwi Yadav and asked Nitish Kumar to refrain from campaigning for him. Upendra Kushwaha's advice to CM Nitish Kumar not to promote Tejashwi Yadav for the 2025 assembly elections was a clear indication that he was speaking the language of the BJP.

Tiwari attacked BJP

RJD national spokesperson Mrityunjay Tiwari said, "At present the uncle-nephew are united and getting stronger in Bihar. Whereas, the BJP wants to create differences among them. The BJP actually wants to woo the voters of the Koeri community through Upendra Kushwaha." And wants to hurt JD-U's vote bank."

Upendra Kushwaha has said that JDU is weakening after the formation of the Grand Alliance government in Bihar. Moreover, CM Nitish Kumar's promotion of Tejashwi Yadav for the 2025 assembly elections is sending a wrong message to Kurmi and Koeri voters, who believe that Yadavs and Muslims will become dominant groups after Tejashwi Yadav becomes Bihar chief minister. Will go

Nitish Kumar spoke on Kushwaha

Reacting to Upendra Kushwaha's statement, Nitish Kumar said on Friday without naming him, 'Every day he makes statements against me in the media and I come to know through newspapers. What is the meaning of his statement? I believe he is with someone else (BJP), so he is speaking his language. He is free to say anything, we don't care."

RJD vice-president Shivanand Tiwari said, "Kurmi and Koeri voters have been anti-Yadav for years in Bihar. It is true that Kurmi and Koeri cast their votes in the name of Nitish Kumar. Similarly Yadav voters vote for Lalu Prasad Yadav and now Tejashwi Yadav." Cast your vote on the name. Now, Nitish Kumar is campaigning for Tejashwi Yadav for the 2025 assembly elections."

Rally in Purnia on 25 February

The allies of the Mahagathbandhan coalition have announced Purnia rally on February 25, in which leaders of all 7 parties including Nitish Kumar and Tejashwi Yadav will be present. It will be interesting to see how Kurmi-Koiri voters will share common ground with Muslims and Yadavs. The success of the Purnia rally will give a strong message to the BJP in Bihar.

He said, "The Upendra Kushwaha episode may create confusion in the Koeri caste, but we have to see how he is able to wean voters away from Nitish Kumar. The test of the relevance of leaders like Upendra Kushwaha will be only when he personally Will be able to remove him from public. I am not sure whether he is popular enough in his caste or not. If we analyze, number of Kushwaha leaders are present in every party and they are popular in their respective constituencies Upendra Kushwaha may create uncertainty in the minds of some voters of his caste, but not for all."

'Nitish has a sharp mind'

He said that Nitish Kumar has the sharpest political mind in the country, who finds out 'Jaichands' within his party and targets them. Upendra Kushwaha and RCP Singh are examples of this. Nitish Kumar is currently on Samadhan Yatra in Bihar and is making every possible effort to attract the EBC vote bank. EBC voters play an important role in deciding the fate of political parties in Bihar. His estimated strength in Bihar is 23 percent. That's why the role of leaders like Jitan Ram Manjhi and Mukesh Sahni becomes more important. Manjhi represented the Mahadalit community, while Mukesh Sahni called himself 'Mallah ka beta' (fisherman). Both of them are loyal to Nitish.
