Rajasthan Election: BJP has released the second list of 83 candidates for Rajasthan Assembly elections. Vasundhara Raje will contest from Jhalrapatan, while the seat of Leader of Opposition Rajendra Rathod has been changed. He has been given ticket from Taranagar instead of Churu. Vidyadhar Nagar MLA Rajvi gets ticket from Chittorgarh

Narpat Singh Rajvi, MLA from Vidyadhar Nagar seat of Jaipur, has now been given ticket from Chittorgarh. In the first list, BJP canceled her ticket and gave ticket to Rajsamand MP Diya Kumari from Vidyadhar Nagar.

Tickets to many former ministers

BJP has also given tickets to many former ministers. These include many former ministers including Pratap Singh Singhvi, Srichand Kripalani, Narpat Singh Rajvi, Otram Dewasi, Pushpendra Singh Ranaut, Anita Bhadel, Vasudev Devnani, Kaicharan Saraf, Rajendra Rathore.

BJP had earlier announced candidates for 41 assembly seats on October 9. There are many surprising names in this list.

PM Narendra Modi held high level meeting

Yesterday, a high level meeting of the party was held under the leadership of Prime Minister Narendra Modi. Home Minister Amit Shah and Defense Minister Rajnath Singh were also present in this meeting. Party President JP Nadda was also present in the meeting. During this, candidates in Telangana, Madhya Pradesh and Rajasthan were discussed. Rest of the candidates from Telangana and Madhya Pradesh are also believed to have been finalized.
