Delhi Election 2025: Speeding up preparations for the Delhi Assembly elections, the Bharatiya Janata Party (BJP) has released its third list. The only name in this list is that of senior leader Mohan Singh Bisht, who has been given a ticket by the party from Mustafabad seat. Earlier he was the sitting MLA of Karawal Nagar, but this time the BJP has fielded Kapil Mishra from Aam Aadmi Party (AAP) from there.

After this decision of the BJP, Mohan Singh Bisht looked somewhat dissatisfied. Expressing his displeasure in a conversation with news agency ANI, he said that giving ticket to Kapil Mishra from Karawal Nagar is not a proper decision. He had said that he would file nomination from this seat. However, later he had said that he would accept the decision of the party leadership.

The party pacified the displeasure

After Mohan Singh Bisht's displeasure, the BJP took immediate action and released its third list. There was only one name in this list - Mohan Singh Bisht, who was made a candidate from Mustafabad seat instead of Karawal Nagar. It is believed that BJP took this decision to pacify Bisht and to avoid any kind of discord in the party.

Mohan Singh Bisht is considered an experienced leader in Delhi politics. He has been an MLA six times so far. He has a good support base in Karawal Nagar seat, but the party made a strategic change by giving a chance to Kapil Mishra from there.

Kapil Mishra's entry changed the equation in Karawal Nagar

This time the contest on Karawal Nagar seat is going to be very interesting. Kapil Mishra was once the prominent face of Aam Aadmi Party, but now he has joined BJP. The party has made a strategy to win this seat by giving him a ticket from Karawal Nagar.

At the same time, the contest on Mustafabad seat will also be interesting. This seat was won by AAP's Haji Yunus in the last assembly elections. Now BJP has indicated by fielding Mohan Singh Bisht from there that it does not want to leave any chance this time.

Eye on the internal politics of the party

With this decision of BJP, it has become clear that the party is working strategically for every seat in the Delhi elections. However, reports of internal differences had also surfaced. But, by giving ticket to Mohan Singh Bisht from Mustafabad, BJP has shown that they are capable of handling the displeasure of their leaders in time.

What does Mohan Singh Bisht say now?

After getting the ticket, Mohan Singh Bisht said that he welcomes the decision of the party. He said, "I am grateful to the BJP leadership. I have always worked for the party and will continue to do so. I will work with full dedication for the people of Mustafabad."

After this move of BJP, there has been a stir in Delhi politics. While on one hand BJP is busy in placating its disgruntled leaders, on the other hand Aam Aadmi Party and Congress are also finalizing their election preparations.

Conclusion

There will be a tough fight on every seat in the Delhi Assembly elections. BJP has fielded an experienced leader by making Mohan Singh Bisht a candidate on Mustafabad seat. It will be interesting to see whether he is able to strengthen his hold on this seat or not. At the same time, Kapil Mishra's claim in Karawal Nagar is also an important part of the party's strategy. Now it remains to be seen whom the public supports and who comes to power in Delhi.
