It has been said in the FIR that on April 12, 2024, from 10:30 am, BJP MP from Kaiserganj Lok Sabha constituency Brij Bhushan Sharan Singh visited villages Mallapur, Gopal Bagh, Bholajot, Gokaran Shivala, Bhatpi, Bhavaniyapur, Deoria of Katra assembly constituency in police station Khargupur area. Public relations were carried out with a convoy of about 25-30 vehicles in Kala, Pipra Bhodhar, Susganwa, Asidha, Lahdova, Rajajot, Anantapur, Chaurabhari, Nauvagon. At present, in view of the impending Lok Sabha elections, Section 144 is in force, this act of his is a violation of the law.

Fourth major action of this kind

The District Magistrate said that this is the fourth major action regarding violation of Model Code of Conduct in the district. Before this, three FIRs have been lodged. He clarified that the district administration is committed to effectively comply with the Model Code of Conduct. Strict action will be taken if anyone violates it. Meanwhile, Police Station Head Dinesh Singh said that on the basis of FST in-charge's complaint, a case has been registered under relevant sections and the investigation has been handed over to Sub-Inspector Mrityunjay Singh. BJP has not yet declared Brij Bhushan Sharan Singh as its candidate. Voting will be held in the fifth phase in Kaiserganj on May 20.
