Bihar News: A case related to former Bihar Chief Minister Lalu Prasad Yadav has again reached the Supreme Court. The Central Bureau of Investigation (CBI) has filed a petition in the Supreme Court on Friday in a case related to the fodder scam, in which it has appealed to cancel the bail granted to Lalu Yadav. There will be a hearing on this matter soon. The CBI has appealed for an early hearing in this matter and has asked to cancel Lalu Yadav's bail. SC will now hear this case on 25 August. On the one hand, where the preparations for next year's Lok Sabha elections are going on and Lalu Yadav is becoming an important link for the opposition's INDIA alliance, then such news can increase the concern for the party.
Let us tell you that there are four such cases related to the fodder scam, in which Lalu Yadav has been granted bail by the Jharkhand High Court. The CBI has appealed against them only. By the way, Lalu Yadav has been convicted in a total of five cases.Rashtriya Janata Dal President Lalu Yadav has also been sentenced in different cases, including 5 years in the Chaibasa case, 3 and a half years in the Deoghar case, 14 years in the Dumka case and 5 years in the Doranda case. Lalu Yadav is currently out on bail in all cases.Apart from this, the CBI had also filed a charge sheet against Lalu Yadav, Rabri Devi and Tejashwi Yadav in the Land for Job scam. It has been alleged that during the time when Lalu Yadav was the Railway Minister of the country, people were given jobs.
