Bihar News: Union Minister Chirag Paswan's statement has come out regarding the demand for special state status for Bihar. Chirag said, 'This is not pressure politics but our demand has been that Bihar should get special state status.' Which party in Bihar will not demand this, or will not agree to that demand? We are in favor of it. We are in the NDA government. BJP is the largest party in the alliance and PM Modi is our leader, whom we all trust. If we do not put this demand in front of him, then whom will we ask?'

Statement also given on NEET case

The issue of NEET is heated across the country. The opposition is constantly cornering the government over the NEET case. Meanwhile, Union Minister and Chirag Paswan said that the government is in touch with all the stakeholders in the NEET paper leak case and a decision will be taken in the best interest of the students at an appropriate time. Chirag criticized the opposition, accusing it of disrupting the proceedings of Parliament on the issue of NEET and said that it shows its wrong thinking.

Chirag said, "The NEET case is being investigated by the concerned agencies and the matter is also pending in the court. The government is talking to all stakeholders. An appropriate decision will be taken at the appropriate time in the best interest of the students."

Paswan also said that NDA ally Nitish Kumar will lead the alliance in the assembly elections to be held in Bihar next year. On the opposition's allegation that the recent increase in crime in Bihar indicates a deterioration in the law and order situation, Hajipur MP Chirag Paswan said, "The situation may be worrying but the government in the state is capable of dealing with it."
