In the washroom of a private school located in Lahartara, a class II student was molested by a sweeper. Hearing the ordeal of the girl who reached home from school, the ground slipped under the feet of the family members.

When the family reached the school, efforts were made to suppress the matter for hours. But the family members were not ready to listen to such a serious incident with the innocent. An eight-year-old girl from a family of Rath Yatra studies in class two. As usual, she reached the school on Thursday also. Meanwhile, in the afternoon, the sweeper seduced the girl and took her to the washroom. There, the girl was raped. When the girl screamed, she was intimidated and silenced. The scared girl did not even inform the teachers about it.

As soon as he reached home, he narrated the ordeal to his mother. Hearing his words, there was a stir among the mother and other family members. Immediately the mother and other relatives reached the school with the child. There was a tussle with the school people for about two hours. After this the family informed the police about the matter.

ACP Chetganj Anirudh Kumar reached the spot with Sigra police. After checking the CCTV footage installed in the school, the accused was taken into custody. According to the police, on the basis of Tahrir, further action is being taken by registering a case against the youth.
