Mahakumbh 2025: Uttar Pradesh Chief Minister Yogi Adityanath met Prime Minister Narendra Modi in New Delhi on Friday. During this meeting, CM Yogi extended a formal invitation to PM Modi to attend the Mahakumbh 2025 to be held in Prayagraj. This grand event of Mahakumbh will run from 13 January to 26 February 2025, in which about 40 crore devotees from India and abroad are expected to participate.Invitation also given to President and other prominent leadersAs part of the process of inviting for Mahakumbh 2025, CM Yogi also met President Draupadi Murmu and Vice President Jagdeep Dhankhar on 30 December 2024. Apart from this, he also invited many top leaders including former President Ram Nath Kovind, Home Minister Amit Shah, Defense Minister Rajnath Singh, BJP National President JP Nadda and Finance Minister Nirmala Sitharaman to attend the Mahakumbh.Kumbhvani FM channel launchedChief Minister Yogi Adityanath launched the 'Kumbhvani' FM channel with the aim of broadcasting information about Mahakumbh 2025. Launched in collaboration with Prasar Bharati, this channel will be heard on 103.5 MHz. Programs related to Mahakumbh will be broadcast on the channel from 5:55 am to 10:05 pm every day from January 10 to February 26. The aim of this channel is to provide detailed information about the organization, route map, security arrangements and religious activities of Mahakumbh to the devotees.Inauguration of Digital Mahakumbh CenterChief Minister Yogi Adityanath also inaugurated the Digital Mahakumbh Center to showcase Mahakumbh 2025 digitally. The center is spread over an area of 60,000 square feet in Sector 3 of Kumbh Mela area and is divided into 12 sectors. The stories of Mahakumbh, Samudra Manthan, Prayag Mahatmya and Triveni Sangam will be displayed through digital technology in this center.At the Digital Mahakumbh Center, devotees will be able to experience the historical and cultural aspects of the Mahakumbh through virtual reality and augmented reality. This center is a unique medium to make devotees aware of the importance of Mahakumbh and the depth of Indian culture.Economic impact of MahakumbhHighlighting the economic impact of Mahakumbh 2025, Chief Minister Yogi Adityanath said that this event will give a big boost to the economy of Uttar Pradesh. He said that the Kumbh Mela held in 2019 contributed about Rs 1.2 lakh crore to the state's economy. This time, Mahakumbh 2025 is estimated to bring economic growth up to Rs 2 lakh crore.CM Yogi said that the arrival of lakhs of devotees in the Mahakumbh will boost tourism, hotels, transport and local business. Along with this, new employment opportunities will also be created.Special focus on preparations for Kumbh MelaThe Uttar Pradesh government has made extensive arrangements for the preparations of Prayagraj Kumbh Mela. Priority is being given to basic services like modern facilities, security arrangements, cleanliness, traffic management and water supply in the fair area.During Mahakumbh 2025, convenient arrangements are being made especially for the disabled, elderly and children. Apart from this, special arrangements have also been made for health services, emergency services and sanitation management in the fair area.Mahakumbh 2025: Confluence of culture and faithMahakumbh is the biggest celebration of Indian culture, spirituality and religious faith. Chief Minister Yogi Adityanath said that Mahakumbh is not only a religious event, but it is also a unique opportunity to present India's cultural heritage on the world stage.
