Bad Situation In Rajasthan / Curfew extended till April 10 in Karauli, relaxation will be given for only three hours a day

The situation is not taking the name of improving after the violence during a bike rally in Karauli, Rajasthan on the day of Hindu New Year. In such a situation, the curfew has been extended once again in the district. Now curfew will remain in force in Karauli till midnight on April 10.

District Magistrate Rajendra Singh Shekhawat issued orders in this regard. However, he also told that on Friday (April 8) the curfew will be relaxed from 9 am to 12 noon i.e. for a total of three hours for the purchase of essential things.

Curfew will be relaxed for three hours

The fertilizer department was supplying milk, vegetables and other essential items including ration across the city. Even after this, essential goods were not reaching most areas of the city. Due to this people were facing problems. Curfew will be relaxed from 9 am to 12 noon on Friday. During this time people can buy the goods they need. On the other hand, the administration is continuously appealing to the people to maintain peace. Police personnel are also deployed in other areas of the city including sensitive areas.

Former mayor's husband can be arrested anytime

So far, the police have registered a case against more than 35 people for inciting and inciting violence in the city. In this, the names of Councilor Matlub, Rajaram Gurjar, husband of former Mayor of Jaipur Greater Soumya Gurjar and many functionaries of Hindu Sena are also included. As soon as the FIR is lodged against Rajaram Gurjar, a team has been constituted for his arrest. Teams are raiding the place for the search. The talk of Rajaram being in Uttar Pradesh is coming to the fore. It is believed that he may be arrested anytime.

So far 22 people have been arrested

The police have registered a case against 35 people for the violence. So far the police have arrested 22 people. Police teams have been continuously raiding in search of others. Police say that soon all the accused will be arrested.

Separate teams formed to arrest the accused

To arrest the accused, the police have formed teams of four DSPs, five SHOs and two DSTs. Along with this, different teams have also been formed to collect evidence from the violence-prone areas, assess the damage and investigate the matter.

The incident of stone pelting came to light in Karauli on April 2 at a bike rally taken out on the occasion of Hindu New Year. Due to this the atmosphere in Hatwara market became tense. More than 35 shops, houses and bikes were set ablaze by the miscreants. In view of the deteriorating situation, first section 144, curfew and then internet service was stopped in the city. 43 people, including policemen, were injured in the violence, while the condition of a person named Pushpendra was critical. He is undergoing treatment at a hospital in Jaipur.
