Jodhpur. On Eid, the ruckus in Rajasthan CM Ashok Gehlot's home region Jodhpur is increasing. In view of the situation, curfew has been imposed in the riot-affected police station areas of Jodhpur city. The curfew will be in place from 1 pm on Tuesday to 12 pm on Wednesday. In view of the tense situation in Jodhpur, police and other security forces have been deployed all over the affected areas of the city. Police patrolling has also been increased in other sensitive areas of the city. On the other hand, the ongoing meeting in the CMO in the capital Jaipur regarding the Jodhpur violence has ended. In the meeting, CM Gehlot reviewed the situation with the top officials. Instructions have been given to deal strictly with anti-social elements in the meeting.

Curfew has been imposed in Udaymandir, Sadar Kotwali, Sadar Bazar, Nagori Gate and Khandaphalsa in district East of Jodhpur Police Commissionerate and in Pratapnagar, Pratapnagar Sadar, Dev Nagar, Sursagar and Sardarpura police station areas of West district. It has been said in the curfew orders that during this time no person will come out of the home limits without permission. This period can also be extended after reviewing the situation.

Today the high level team will go from Jaipur to Jodhpur.

It was decided in the meeting that a high level team would go from Jaipur to Jodhpur today. Chief Minister Ashok Gehlot has instructed this team to immediately go to Jodhpur by helicopter. In this team, Minister of State for Home Rajendra Yadav, Minister in charge of Jodhpur, Dr. Subhash Garg, ACS Home Department Abhay Kumar, ADG Law and Order Hawa Singh Ghumaria will go to Jodhpur.

On the Jodhpur incident, Minister of State for Home Rajendra Yadav said that Chief Minister Gehlot is very serious about the incident. Gehlot has instructed the officials that strict action should be taken against the culprits of the incident, belonging to any religion or community. Curfew has been imposed in Jodhpur. At present the situation is under control. It is unfortunate to have such an incident on a religious festival. Politics should not be done on such incidents.
