During the assembly elections, the Congress had promised the people of Telangana that if its government comes to power in the state, it will waive the loans of farmers. They released the money in four phases in both the tenures, but we have decided to repay the dues in one go.In fact, the government will repay the agricultural loans taken from 12 December 2018 to 9 December 2023. The government is considering setting up a separate corporation to raise the funds required for this scheme.
