Farmer Movement: Demonstrations by farmers are continuing for various demands and the impact of this movement is being seen on the Shambhu border on the way to Delhi. Tight security arrangements have been implemented at the Shambhu border to prevent farmers from moving towards Delhi. Also, in view of this movement, internet services have been shut down in many areas around the Shambhu border in Ambala district.

In the order issued by the Haryana government, it has been said that some farmer organizations have called for a march to Delhi, which is likely to create tension in the area. In view of this tension, the government has decided that internet services will be banned, so that the spread of rumors on social media can be stopped and peace can be maintained.

Ban on Internet Services:

The Haryana government has issued an order to ban internet services till December 9. This ban will remain in force on mobile internet, SMS service and other dongle services. However, during this time people have been allowed to make voice calls, so that they can maintain contact with each other.

The order issued by the Home Secretary also states that internet services will remain suspended in many villages of Ambala district. These include villages like Dangdehari, Lohgarh, Manakpur, Dadiyana, Bari Ghel, Larsa, Kalu Mazra, Devi Nagar, Saddopur, Sultanpur and Kakru.

Delhi Police's vigilance at Tikri border:

Delhi Police has increased security at Tikri border and set up its tents there. No restrictions have been imposed on this border, but constant contact is being maintained between Delhi Police and Haryana Police for security reasons. This step has been taken to ensure that the agitation of the protesters can end peacefully without any major dispute.

Tight security arrangements at Khanori border:

Security arrangements have also been increased at Khanori border. Here the police administration has deployed 13 security force companies, which include RAF, IRB, BSF and district police contingents. These security forces have been deployed on the border so that efforts can be made to stop the farmers if they try to cross the border. Apart from this, orders have also been given to close the liquor shops in the areas connected to Khanori border and Section 163 has been implemented.

Conclusion:

Steps are being taken by the government to maintain peace amid the farmers' movement. This decision to ban internet services at Shambhu border, deployment of security forces, and vigil on the borders is an important step towards the peaceful resolution of the movement. Now it remains to be seen how the protesters respond to this decision and in which direction the movement moves forward.
